Development of an artificial intelligence food recognition solution
MB "Persikas AI" is implementing a project aimed at developing, testing and launching on the market an artificial intelligence solution capable of accurately recognising, from mobile phone photos, food dishes typical of the Baltic and Northern European regions, their ingredients and quantities, and automatically calculating their energy value and macronutrients.The project is being implemented under the measure "To encourage SMEs to develop AI solutions". During the project, solutions based on computer vision, machine learning and large language models will be developed and adapted, reducing the algorithmic bias of existing AI models towards small markets. The project will result in a new artificial intelligence product for more accurate and more convenient nutrition tracking.
